This initiative is part of the European Feed4Food project, aiming to integrate urban agriculture into public spaces while promoting environmental education and community engagement. The project is funded by the European Union, the Driving Urban Transitions programme, and the Research and Innovation Foundation, with local partners including the Strovolos Municipality, VL Sustainability Metrics LTD, and the KES Research Centre of KES College. The harvested vegetables were donated to the Agia Marina Elderly Home in Strovolos, demonstrating the project’s commitment to social solidarity and sustainable urban living.
