The Project
Living Labs, as defined by the European Network of Living Labs (ENLL, 2023), are “real-life test and experimentation environments that foster co-creation and open innovation among the main actors of the Quadruple Helix Model: Citizens, Government, Industry, and Academia.” These environments are particularly effective for exploring inclusive approaches to developing urban agriculture. In the Feed4Food initiative, Living Labs encompass a wide range of contexts and solutions with a unified objective: each Living Lab integrates circularity and ecological sustainability with ecosystem service provision (such as park development) and zero-emission agriculture. To achieve these combined goals, various scientific methods are employed to assess the performance and impact of the Living Labs.
Feed4Food will develop a live dashboard providing real-time information on the performance of the Living Labs.
